The living room looks out over restored prairie land and the house is situated next to two classic barns and a chicken coop. 

 

This is one of those spots where you can completely unplug and enjoy the entire weekend in cozy isolation. Pepin, Wisconsin is a sleepy little community but you can still enjoy a great dinner at Harborview Cafe, lunch at Nelson Creamery, or a bottle of wine on the piazza at Villa Bellezza. For the outdoor enthusiasts, there is hiking and snowshoeing throughout the region as well as sailing on scenic Lake Pepin.
